Welcome to the Bathurst St Phase II reconstruction Page
Phase II saw the rebuilding of the tracks from St Clair Ave to just north of the Bloor St station in 2008. Water lines were replace at the same time forcing a longer delay getting service back on this section.
Work started on ?. I shot various Photo's at various time depending on my schedule for this location and are posted below and on following pages. Click the Photo's to get a full size view of it as it was shot at 8mg in a 3264 x 2448 size.
With the closure of the road to TTC service, TTC was forced to store spare streetcars for the St Clair Ave 512 route west of Vaughan Rd. At the same time, TTC Hillcrest maintenance complex for major streetcar repairs was cut 100% for the whole streetcar network.
During the rebuilding of the tracks on Bathurst St, the tracks on Vaughan Rd were replace at the same time.
Because of the longer delay in construction, track work under the CP bridge at Dupont Rd was put on hold until 2009.
