There is a lot of history surrounding TTC and it's precessors that has complelled me to break it down to a number of sections due to the size of them. A fair amount is based on my life growing up in Toronto and using TTC to get around.

As I come upond new information during my research, it has compelled me to do some rewriting and to note things where I have conflecting information as to who, what and when was taking place at the time. In somecaes, there is very or no information that I have come upond to provide a better picture what was going on at the time. Maybe over time, I can obtain that loss or missing infortmation that will enhance this history section.

I will not drill down to the quality of level of service or types of vehicles as that information can be obtain from sites who have already done this to date.

Since I came a Transit advocate in 2000, I realize how much I did not know about TTC or forgot about various things until I started doing my Transit Site.

A lot of the information I will be providing is from my personal point of view and knowledge to other sources. I will be highlighting those source as I write my History Pages.

Since 2004, I have attended TTC monthly meeting and have obtain the various information from them that I have added to various pages. I have also attended most EA meets on the varous projects over the years.
